Imeko-Afon Ramadan Lecture: Hon. Isiaka Hails Gov. Abiodun, Urges Unity
Hon. Wasiu Isiaka, Commissioner for Sports Development in Ogun State, praised Gov. Dapo Abiodun's leadership at the first Ramadan Lecture and Iftar in memory of his parents, Alhaji T. Ade Isiaka and Alhaja K. Agbeke Isiaka. The event took place in Imeko-Afon Local Government. Under the theme “Unity in Diversity: Prophetic Teaching on Politics of Positivity for Community Development,” Isiaka called for unity and positive engagement to build stronger communities. He thanked Gov. Abiodun for the opportunity to serve and highlighted development projects improving lives across the state. He urged the sons and daughters of Imeko-Afon to embrace unity and work together for their community’s progress and Ogun State’s advancement. He also offered prayers for God’s guidance and success for the governor. Guest lecturers Alhaji Mohd Shuaib Adegbite and Alhaji Ali Abimbola Salimon stressed that Ramadan is a time for self-restraint and spiritual reflection. The Onimeko of Imeko-Afon, Oba Benjamin Olanite Ilufemiloye, appealed for unity and further development in the local government.
