10-Year-Old Girl Injured as Gunmen Kidnap Businessman in Oyo State

Armed men trailed a businessman from Kraal Market, Ago-Are, to his filling station and then to his home in Irawo, Atisbo LGA of Oyo State. They abducted him at gunpoint late on May 11. During the attack, a 10-year-old girl sustained gunshot wounds. She was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment and pellet extraction. Oyo State Police spokesperson confirmed recovery of three spent cartridges and face caps at the scene. Investigations are ongoing and officers are working to rescue the victim unhurt and arrest the kidnappers.
