Nigeria’s Super Falcons have qualified for the quarter-finals of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations after a commanding 6-2 win over Egypt in their final Group C match in Rabat. Captain Asisat Oshoala opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 21st minute after VAR confirmed a handball in Egypt’s box. Nigeria controlled the match and continued to add goals, despite Egypt scoring once before half-time and converting a late penalty. Rasheedat Ajibade and Joy Omewa scored in stoppage time to complete the emphatic victory for the defending champions. Egypt had already been eliminated before the match.
