Bashir Ahmad Challenges Obi and Kwankwaso: Will They Quit NDC if Atiku Joins?

Former presidential aide Bashir Ahmad took to social media with a pointed question for Peter Obi and Sen. Rabiu Kwankwaso. The two defected from the African Democratic Congress to the Nigerian Democratic Congress on May 3. Ahmad asked if they would again pack their bags and leave should former Vice President Atiku Abubakar decide to join the NDC. He argued that Obi and Kwankwaso fear facing Atiku in a primary contest. Some observers note they left the ADC because their chances of securing the flagbearer ticket there were slim compared to Atiku.
