Nigerian Man Alleges Police Officer Searched Phone and Viewed Wife’s Private Childbirth Videos

A Nigerian man has alleged that police officers seized and searched his phone after stopping him at a checkpoint while he was on his way to the bank. He said the officers questioned his vehicle documents and took him to their office after suspecting he was recording them. He alleged that an officer went through private childbirth videos of his wife stored on the phone. The man also claimed the officers demanded money for fuel. He said the matter was later resolved and his documents were returned.
