Enugu Police Dismiss Fake Kidnapping and Attack Alerts at UNN

The Enugu State Police Command has rejected reports of a planned infiltration, kidnapping and attack on the University of Nigeria, Nsukka campus. SP Daniel Ndukwe said intelligence assessments found no credible threat and that the command, in collaboration with university authorities and other agencies, has put robust security measures in place around the institution. Investigations are under way to trace the criminal syndicate behind the false alarms. The police urged everyone to ignore unverified information and to report any suspicious activity to the nearest station.
