Lessons from Delaying My UK Admission: What I Learned

Hello naijaworlders, I spent April and May planning my UK application but took no real action. By June, I woke up to looming deadlines and full programmes. Rushing caused errors. I applied to poorly researched schools. My statement wasn’t at its best. I ended up choosing what was left, not what suited me. The stress was intense. I checked emails every few minutes. I doubted every decision. Some even defer their intake just to escape the panic. Looking back, I had enough time. I just didn’t use it wisely. Starting earlier would have given me more choices, stronger documents, and calmer decisions. What about you? Have you begun your application, or are you still in “I’ll start soon” mode?
