SWAT Raids Isheri-Olofin Hideout, Arrests 43 Suspects in Ogun
The Ogun State Police Command detained 43 suspects during a July 8 raid on a criminal hideout at Isheri-Olofin along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. Officers recovered substances suspected to be cannabis, “Loud” and other hard drugs, plus 10 mobile phones and four power banks. All suspects have been charged with conspiracy, unlawful society membership, drug offences, prostitution and public peace violations. They have been remanded in court. The Commissioner of Police praised the SWAT team’s professionalism and urged residents to share credible information to help dismantle criminal networks.
