Satguru Maharaj Ji Tells Ramaphosa: Stop Xenophobic Violence or Step Down

Satguru Maharaj Ji, founder of the One Love Family, has urged President Cyril Ramaphosa to take decisive action against the recent wave of xenophobic violence in South Africa or step down from office. He accused the administration of failing to protect African migrants and uphold Pan-African unity. In a statement to journalists, the spiritual leader said the president’s response came only after severe damage to lives and businesses. He called on the South African Parliament to consider a vote of no confidence if urgent measures are not taken to curb the attacks. Maharaj Ji also appealed to the African Union to reassess South Africa’s commitment to Pan-African ideals. He urged African governments to support affected citizens and stressed that true unity requires leaders who prioritize justice and security for all Africans.
