Inside Kebbi: 18 APC First-term Governors Hold Closed-door Summit

Eighteen first-term APC governors are meeting behind closed doors at the Kebbi State Government House in Birnin Kebbi. Hosted by Governor Nasir Idris, attendees include governors from Sokoto, Kaduna, Jigawa, Plateau, Delta, Ekiti, Taraba, Ondo, Ebonyi, Akwa Ibom, Edo, Benue, Kogi, Enugu and others. Cross River, Niger and Katsina governors sent apologies for their absence. The gathering will address party affairs, governance, economic development and security challenges. It also offers a chance to review each administration’s performance and share ideas for improved service delivery and growth. An official briefing is expected after the meeting to outline key resolutions and next steps.
