Bengaluru Engineer Allegedly Kills Wife, Then Dies by Suicide After Message to Mother

Police in Bengaluru are investigating the deaths of a civil engineer and his wife after a domestic dispute at their home in Rajeshwari Nagar, Hegganahalli. Investigators said the 32-year-old man allegedly assaulted and suffocated his 29-year-old wife with a pillow during an argument. After reportedly noticing she was not breathing, he called his mother and sent her a message saying he was going to die. His mother alerted the landlord, who found the man hanging in the hall and his wife dead inside the residence. Police have opened a case and moved both bodies to Victoria Hospital for post-mortem examinations. The couple had been married for four years. Authorities said the exact cause of death and full sequence of events are still under investigation.
