Gunmen Abduct Ogun Farm Owner in Ikenne, Demand ₦500 Million Ransom
Police in Ogun State have begun a search for Oreoluwa Osonuga, a farm owner abducted by gunmen in Ikenne on Sunday afternoon. Osonuga was reportedly on his way to buy fuel and deliver poultry products when the attackers intercepted his vehicle and took him away. His 2017 Toyota Highlander was later recovered at the scene by the Ikenne Divisional Police Officer. The kidnappers reportedly contacted his family through his phone and demanded ₦500 million for his release. Ogun State Commissioner of Police Bode Ojajuni said officers had launched efforts to locate the suspects and rescue Osonuga safely. The incident has renewed concerns about the safety of residents and business owners in parts of Ogun State.
