Super Falcons Forward Flourish Sabastine Signs Three-Year Deal With Benfica

Former Falconets forward Flourish Sabastine has signed a three-year contract with Portuguese Women’s League champions Benfica, keeping her at the club until 2029. The 21-year-old joins from Fenerbahce after scoring 12 goals in 25 appearances during her only season in Turkey. She helped Fenerbahce win the league title. Sabastine represented Nigeria at the 2022 and 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cups. She also made her Super Falcons debut against Japan in October 2022. Benfica, who have won six consecutive Portuguese top-flight titles, announced her signing on Monday.
