Influencer Ash Trevino Pleads Guilty to Fraud as Court Documents Allege Inmate Relationships
US influencer Ash Trevino has pleaded guilty to welfare fraud and healthcare fraud in Texas. She was sentenced to two years of community supervision, 120 hours of community service, financial counselling and an anti-theft class. She was also ordered to repay $16,799.95 to the state. The case followed her arrest on outstanding warrants in December 2025 and a subsequent arrest in March 2026 for allegedly breaching her release conditions. Court documents also contain prosecutors’ allegations that Trevino had relationships with about 50 to 75 Texas prison inmates, including people convicted of violent offences. Those allegations, as well as claims concerning her social-media activity, were not the basis of her fraud convictions.
