Odeda Zonal CDC Reviews Key Community Plans at June Meeting

On 24 June 2026, the Odeda Zonal Community Development Committee met at Isokan ACDC to discuss development issues and reach resolutions. They observed a moment of condolence for the late Youth Representative of Bode-Olude ACDC and appointed a delegation to visit the bereaved family. The Zonal Chairman thanked community leaders for their support at the recent Ogun State CDC Standing Committee meeting. He also apologized for the quality of refreshments, citing financial commitments to the upcoming Odeda Community Day. Details on approved attire and a ₦10,000 contribution per ACDC were shared. Chairmen were directed to ensure their Community Development Associations hold Annual General Meetings by the end of July. Leaders were urged to practise responsible political participation that preserves community unity. An embargo on new ACDCs lacking legal requirements was announced. The meeting reiterated certification fees of ₦3,000 each for ACDC Chairmen and State Officers. Commitment to unity, compliance, and local progress was affirmed.

They offered condolences and approved resolutions, but many community meetings seem to end without real follow-through.

I no see how sending a delegation go change anything if dem no set clear follow-up steps.

They should set clear milestones and assign responsibilities for each resolution to track progress before the next meeting.
