The Kano State Police Command announced the recovery of two vehicles stolen from a church in Abuja and a mosque in Kano. In separate intelligence-led operations, officers retrieved a 2004 Toyota Corolla taken from Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Wuse and traced it to Tarauni LGA in Kano State. A foreign-used Kia Optima reported stolen from Khalifa Isyaka Rabiu Friday Mosque in Gadon Kaya was also recovered in Kumbotso LGA following collaboration with the Zone 5 Jaen Vigilante Group. Both vehicles are now in safe custody. The Commissioner of Police commended the Special Intervention Squad, Sharada Division and local vigilantes for their professionalism. The command urged residents to remain vigilant and report suspicious activity to the nearest station or emergency lines.
