Tochlight Africa Safety Summit 2026 Honours Public Safety Heroes in Lagos
Security stakeholders, policymakers, law-enforcement agencies, corporate organisations and community leaders gathered in Lagos for the Tochlight Africa Safety Summit and Awards 2026. The July 30 summit focused on building stronger alliances against terrorism, kidnapping, cybercrime, banditry, piracy, organised crime and communal conflict. It also recognised public-safety heroes for their contributions. Discussions covered intelligence gathering, joint security operations, border protection, cybersecurity, community policing, public-private partnerships and regional cooperation. Participants also examined factors driving insecurity, including poverty, youth unemployment, extremism and political violence.
