Davido Advocates Dedicated Mental Health Centre for Entertainers

Davido Advocates Dedicated Mental Health Centre for Entertainers

In a recent interview, Davido highlighted the psychological toll that fame can take on entertainers. He noted that constant public expectation and scrutiny can overwhelm even the most successful stars. He referenced Cristiano Ronaldo’s experience after Portugal’s World Cup exit to show how criticism follows every high point. Davido admitted his greatest fear is working hard only to have it undone by public missteps. To address this, he proposed creating therapy centres exclusively for popular and successful figures. He said it’s “crazy” to be on top of the world one moment and feel lost the next, stressing the urgent need for tailored mental health support in the entertainment industry.
