Kofi Nahaje Sarkodie Mensah, known worldwide as Kofi Kingston, is a Ghanaian-American WWE superstar on SmackDown. He was born on August 14, 1981 in Kumasi, Ghana, and later moved with his family to Boston. After finishing high school in Winchester, he graduated from Boston College and began his wrestling training with Chaotic Wrestling. In 2006 he signed with WWE and debuted on Deep South Wrestling before earning a spot on Raw in 2008. Over his career, Kofi has held multiple Intercontinental and US Championships. In 2014 he formed The New Day, setting the record for the longest tag team title reign in WWE history. He also made history as the first African-born WWE world champion. Off the mat, he married Kori Campfield in 2010 and they have two sons. His spine-tattooed Adinkra symbols pay tribute to his Ghanaian heritage. His current net worth is estimated at $4 million.
