Candlelight Vigil in Ebonyi Honours Biafra Heroes on Remembrance Day
We marked Biafra Heroes Day with a candlelight vigil in Ebonyi State. Flames flickered in honour of those who fought and the innocent lives lost. We will never forget the plans that threatened our people or the over three million children who starved during the crisis. A friend at Fr. Mbaka’s Adoration Ministry explained why they canceled their usual Friday prayers. They did not want to pull worshippers from their homes on Sit-at-Home Day and ensured everyone could return safely. I believe this thoughtful choice respects our heroes and heroines. I thank Fr. Mbaka and the ministry for their care and solidarity.
