UNIZIK Announces 20th Convocation Ceremony for June 17–20, 2026
Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka will hold its 20th Convocation Ceremony from Wednesday, June 17 to Saturday, June 20, 2026. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Ugochukwu Bond Stanley Anyaehie made the announcement at the 242nd Senate meeting on February 25, 2026. The four-day event will honour graduands of the 2024/2025 session with certificate presentations. It will also feature the award of honorary degrees and the bestowment of Emeritus Professorial titles. Prof. Anyaehie hinted at a possible second ceremony in November 2026 to mark the birthday of the late Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe. He assured that student and staff welfare remains a top priority during his five-year tenure.
