Super Falcons Finalise WAFCON 2026 Squad as Abiodun and Monday Arrive

Deborah Abiodun and Gift Monday have joined the Super Falcons in their camp at the Marriott Hotel in Casablanca ahead of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations. Head coach Justine Madugu now has his full 25-player squad ready as the team enters the final phase of preparations for the continental tournament. Their arrival was delayed when their flight from the United States was cancelled on Tuesday, causing them to miss Nigeria’s 2-1 friendly win over Tanzania’s Twiga Stars. The 10-time African champions will relocate to Rabat on Friday to begin their Group C matches against Malawi, Zambia and Egypt.
