Presidency Affirms Nigerians’ Right to Self-Defence Amid Rising Insecurity

Daniel Bwala, Special Adviser on Policy Communication, says the government is determined to end killings across the country. He reminded citizens that the constitution guarantees their right to defend themselves against home invaders. Speaking in a TV interview, he condemned the recent attack on a primary school in Oyo State where teachers and pupils were abducted. Bwala highlighted the role of vigilante groups and state-approved paramilitary units in supporting law enforcement.
