Hailing from Edo State and raised in Kaduna, VDM studied Business Administration at the University of Lagos. He rose to prominence in 2022–2023 with viral videos that called out corruption and defended public accountability. Despite facing criticism for selective activism and an arrest in March 2024 over alleged cyberbullying, VDM remains a polarizing force. His supporters praise him as a “voice of the voiceless,” and his recent return to social media racked up 8 million views within one hour.
