Nigerian Man Says Marriage Ended After Years of Unresolved Infidelity and Abortion Pain
A Nigerian man says his five-year marriage has ended after years of unresolved pain over past decisions in their relationship. He said his wife could not forgive him for asking her to terminate three pregnancies while he was a student and for what he described as following another woman. He recalled that she supported him and their daughter financially while he was unemployed after university. According to him, they married in 2021 after he got a job, but the loss of a pregnancy and growing mistrust deepened the crisis. He said they eventually chose separation, adding that no one should remain in a marriage that has become emotionally unbearable. He also acknowledged her sacrifices and wished her well.
