Anambra Pilgrim Board Welcomes Resumption of Christian Pilgrimage to Israel
The Anambra State Pilgrim Board has welcomed the Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission’s decision to lift its suspension on Christian pilgrimages to Israel. The commission suspended government and privately organised trips in March because of worsening security conditions in the Middle East. Its Executive Secretary announced the reopening on August 1. The state’s pilgrimage office urged intending pilgrims to begin preparations and seek proper guidance through the Office of the Deputy Governor. It said arrangements are in place to support a timely and smooth pilgrimage process for Anambra residents.
