Wole Adedoyin Appointed Acting General Secretary of ANA
The Association of Nigerian Authors has named Mr. Wole Adedoyin as its Acting General Secretary. This follows the resignation of Dame Joan Oji, who left her post after relocating to the United States. His appointment takes immediate effect and continues until the current administration ends in 2027. As Assistant General Secretary, Mr. Adedoyin will now sign official correspondence and policy documents alongside the ANA President. Mr. Adedoyin praised his predecessor’s leadership and pledged to build on her achievements. Dame Joan Oji also congratulated him and promised ongoing mentorship. The ANA leadership expressed gratitude for her service and looks forward to her support from abroad. The Association reaffirms its commitment to literary excellence and institutional stability as it advances its programmes and advocacy initiatives.
