On Friday at The Hawthorns, West Bromwich Albion and Wrexham played out an entertaining 2-2 draw in the Championship. George Dobson’s own goal handed the hosts an early lead in the 26th minute. Seven minutes before half-time, Josh Maja doubled the advantage with a cool penalty. The 27-year-old has now scored three goals and supplied one assist in 33 league games this season. He was substituted by Daryl Dike 18 minutes from time. Wrexham responded through Issa Kaboré and Josh Windass. Nigerian-born goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo also featured for the visitors.
