Tinubu to Visit France, Kenya and Rwanda for Africa-France Summit and CEO Forum
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will depart Abuja on May 2 for a series of high-level engagements in France, Kenya and Rwanda. His first stop is in France before he travels to Nairobi to attend the Africa-France Summit from May 11 to 12. Co-chaired by President Emmanuel Macron and President William Ruto, the summit will focus on energy transition, green industrialisation, digital transformation, global finance reform and climate action. After the summit in Kenya, President Tinubu will head to Kigali for the annual Africa CEO Forum on May 14 and 15. With the theme “Scale or Fail” and held in partnership with the IFC, the forum will gather over 2,000 private-sector leaders to discuss regional integration, cross-border investment and building competitive industries. During both summits, the President will highlight his administration’s reforms aimed at boosting Nigeria’s investment appeal and hold strategic meetings with global and African business leaders. He is expected to return to Nigeria after the Rwanda event.
