Adulthood can be a shock. We grow up judging our parents for their struggles and unfinished dreams. Then reality hits. Bills pile up, jobs are hard to find, and responsibilities multiply. We work long hours and face hidden battles. Suddenly we see that our parents were raising children, paying rent, feeding a family, and surviving pressures we never knew. This doesn’t mean they were perfect. They made mistakes too. But surviving often proves harder than judging, and growing older replaces criticism with respect.
