Honda Car Crashes into Two Keke Tricycles on Ipaja Road, 10 Injured

At about 8:50 a.m. on May 16, a Honda car (KTU 921 JY) veered to avoid a LAWMA street sweeper at the Federal Bus Stop on Ipaja Road. Despite the swerve, the vehicle hit the sweeper, crossed into the opposite lane, and collided with two commercial tricycles. Eyewitnesses report that around 10 passengers suffered varying injuries. The victims were first taken to a nearby private clinic for emergency care. Some were later transferred to Lagos State University Teaching Hospital for further treatment. Officers from the Nigeria Police (Gowon Division), LASTMA, and local neighbourhood security personnel led rescue efforts and managed traffic after the crash.
