Hollywood veteran Danny Glover has confirmed that he was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2023. He says his speech and memories have been affected, but he chose to speak out now to acknowledge his journey and support millions facing the same challenge. In a recent interview and a Today Show appearance, Glover admitted he still struggles to fully accept the diagnosis. “There are moments when memories come back and moments I’ll never forget,” he told the media. Glover’s stellar career spans over four decades. He made his debut in Escape from Alcatraz before earning acclaim in films like The Colour Purple, Witness, Predator 2 and the Lethal Weapon series. His daughter Mandisa notes that he still recalls much of his landmark work even as some memories begin to fade.
