Kimberly Mathers pleaded no contest on May 11 to driving under the influence and failing to report an accident. Prosecutors say the 51-year-old struck a parked vehicle in Chesterfield Township, Michigan, with such force that it was sent 50 feet down the street. Her son Parker and three of his friends were passengers in her Range Rover at the time. Instead of staying at the scene, witnesses say Mathers drove home and later crashed into her own garage door. A mug shot released by the Macomb County prosecutor’s office shows Mathers with puffiness and bruising around her eyes. She is due for sentencing in district court on June 17, as authorities warn that driving under the influence puts lives at risk.
