Anthony Dennis Agrees €5m Move From Göztepe to Al Jazira
Nigerian midfielder Anthony Dennis is set to join UAE Pro League side Al Jazira from Turkish club Göztepe in a reported €5 million deal. The 22-year-old defensive midfielder made 31 appearances and scored three goals for Göztepe last season. He had reportedly attracted interest from clubs in England, Spain and Germany before choosing the move to the UAE. Dennis joined Göztepe from HB Academy Abuja in 2023 and became a regular in the team. He received his first Super Eagles call-up in March 2025 for the World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe, but is yet to make his senior debut.
