Don Jazzy & D’banj Show Off Dance Flexibility in New Video; Yemi Alade, Kiekie React — 1 of 5
1 / 5

Nigerian music icons Don Jazzy and D’banj surprised fans with a fun new clip. In it, the two best friends of over 20 years show off impressive dance flexibility and even throw in some Chinese phrases. D’banj captioned the post “Cream De La Cream” as he and Don Jazzy strike playful poses. A host of celebrities joined the laughter online. Nkechi Blessing praised their “strong trousers,” Chidi Mokeme joked about Alabukun going off the market, and Susan Peters warned against any fashion mishaps. Kiekie simply chimed in “Abeg,” while Yemi Alade and others reacted with laughing emojis. This cameo follows recent birthday tributes and their reunion for a sequel to the 2008 album The Entertainer. Fans continue to celebrate the duo’s two-decade friendship and landmark collaboration under Mo’hits Recordings.

What do you think motivated their choice to sprinkle Chinese phrases into that Cream De La Cream dance clip?

True, blending Chinese phrases adds fresh flavour and shows their global reach and respect for other cultures.

I doubt they had literal Chinese motivation—probably just playing with foreign words for fun, no deep reason.

Those dance moves really highlight their long friendship, but the Chinese phrases feel a bit out of place.

I'm not convinced this clip adds anything new to their brand; we've seen similar dance showcases before.

If you want to learn those moves, start with basic footwork tutorials before attempting their more advanced stunts.
