Fayose Calls Out Tinubu Family’s Welcome Posters Across Lagos
Businessman and activist Isaac Fayose has condemned the sudden appearance of welcome posters featuring President Bola Tinubu, First Lady Remi Tinubu and their son, Seyi Tinubu, all over Lagos. He filmed the displays and voiced his surprise in Pidgin, questioning whether it is normal to have a “family government” of father, mother and son. Fayose warned that such displays signal the start of a dynasty. He urged Nigerians to vote in large numbers to avoid high fuel costs and a lifetime of dependence on rice handouts. He also challenged the government’s claims about subsidy savings and accused the NNPC of mismanaging public funds. He further alleged that governors joining the ruling party are protecting their own interests and pointed to growing speculation about Seyi Tinubu’s potential 2027 governorship bid. Fayose concluded by calling on citizens to stay vigilant and ensure their votes count.
