Esther Walson-Jack, head of the civil service, told a House of Representatives committee that the PFIPC was allocated space officially reserved for the SGF’s office. The controversy centers on the N1.3 billion earmarked for the council in the 2026 Appropriation Act. Meanwhile, the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission has summoned President Tinubu’s chief of staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, for questioning over his suspected role in the PFIPC’s creation and operations.
