NNPC GCEO Ojulari Highlights Nigeria’s Clear Energy Value at CERAWeek 2026

At CERAWeek 2026 in Houston, Engr. Bashir Bayo Ojulari, GCEO of NNPC Limited, praised Nigeria’s strong energy fundamentals. He told global leaders that clear value and disciplined execution will attract capital. Ojulari explained how Nigeria balances today’s oil and gas production with long-term transition goals. He stressed that gas is a strategic lever for industrial growth, supported by over 600 trillion cubic feet of proven reserves and key infrastructure like the AKK pipeline. He noted that the Petroleum Industry Act now offers regulatory certainty. He highlighted bankable contracts and international partnerships as critical to unlocking deepwater assets. According to him, stable policies and improved security make Nigeria a reliable energy investment destination.
