I believe the Bible’s account of creation is literal, including the firmament on Day 2. Genesis describes how God separated the waters above from the waters below before land appeared. The flood narrative hints that water lay both under the earth and above the firmament. Some rocket tests and expeditions near Antarctica report hitting a hard, curved barrier. Could this be the biblical firmament? If a solid dome encloses our world, mainstream science and space imagery may be misleading. We need to question what we’ve been taught and consider a divinely designed, enclosed earth.
