The Executive Vice Chairman of NASENI, Khalil Suleiman Halilu, says Nigeria must build its own capacity for high-precision component production to achieve sustainable industrialisation. He spoke during a visit by the Budget Office Director-General to NASENI’s Centre of Excellence for Precision Manufacturing. Halilu explained that the facility under the Renewed Hope Agenda will serve sectors like aerospace, energy, automotive and healthcare. By strengthening indigenous manufacturing, he argued, Nigeria can cut import dependence, boost competitiveness and create high-value jobs, positioning the country as a leading African manufacturing hub.
