PUI Nigeria Recruitment: Psychosocial Worker, HR Deputy & Consortium Coordinator

Premiere Urgence Internationale (PUI) is an international aid organization supporting communities affected by disasters, conflicts and exclusion in Nigeria since 2016. Our teams work on food security, nutrition, health and protection projects in Maiduguri and across Borno State. We are recruiting for three contract roles: a Psychosocial Support Worker in Pulka (Borno) earning N520,524 monthly; a Deputy Human Resource Coordinator in Abuja; and a Consortium Coordinator (maternity cover) in Abuja. Each role involves specialized support, team coordination and reporting to ensure effective humanitarian action. Interested and qualified candidates should apply through PUI’s online portal by the listed deadlines: Psychosocial Support Worker (1 July 2026), Deputy HR Coordinator (30 June 2026) and Consortium Coordinator (29 June 2026).

It's interesting that PUI has been active since 2016 in Maiduguri, but I wonder how consistent funding affects the stability of these positions.

I dey wonder if all these fancy job titles really translate to on-the-ground support, or na just way to impress donors.

A good next step is checking PUI's training opportunities and network events to prepare a strong application for these Borno State roles.
