At 27, Queenesther Hogan Unveils 27 Books to Empower Young Leaders

Queenesther Michael Hogan marked her 27th birthday in Abuja by launching her milestone project “27 Books by 27.” Each title reflects a season of her journey and offers practical guidance on leadership, resilience, and personal growth. Her writing journey began at 12 with poetry and evolved into storytelling in church. By 22 she released her first guide for undergraduates. Today her work spans personal development, career growth, entrepreneurship, and global citizenship. Beyond publishing, she leads FishHer Africa, a three-year initiative advancing girls’ sexual and reproductive health rights, menstrual hygiene awareness, and digital literacy. Community projects include pad drives, sustainability campaigns, and policy workshops to support adolescent girls.

I'm not sure the sheer count matters more than the ideas inside. Young leaders need substance, not just numbers.

Launching 27 books by age 27 sounds impressive, but I wonder if quality might suffer with so many titles at once.

Are these books more than just motivational slogans? Real leadership advice needs depth, not catchy titles alone.

I'd recommend starting with books on resilience—they often include exercises you can apply right away to build stronger leadership habits.
