Keown Predicts Arsenal Will Face Bayern and Avoid PSG in Champions League Final

Martin Keown believes Arsenal can overcome Atletico Madrid to reach their first Champions League final since 2006. He says he’d rather face Bayern Munich than PSG in the showpiece because PSG’s pace could prove too much for his former club. Arsenal beat Sporting Lisbon and held a tough quarter-final tie before booking the semi-final against Atletico. Keown trusts Mikel Arteta’s side to get past Diego Simeone’s men and hopes for an Arsenal-Bayern final on May 30.

It seems a bit optimistic to assume Atletico Madrid will be a straightforward obstacle before even worrying about Bayern or PSG finals.

Focusing on tightening midfield control against Atletico could be the key step before worrying about any final opponent's style.
