Rita Edochie Blasts Judy Austin Over Red Cap Tradition
Nollywood star Rita Edochie has taken to Instagram to fire back at her nephew’s wife, Judy Austin, for questioning whether a woman without an Igbo title can wear a red cap. Edochie branded Judy’s criticism hypocritical, pointing to allegations that Judy had an affair with a married man and “kidnapped another woman’s husband” before running into the bush with him for years. She argued that someone who ignores her own marital duties has no standing to lecture others on cultural customs. Edochie closed by reminding everyone that true respect for tradition must begin with personal integrity.
