Troops of Operation Enduring Peace have rescued Boyi Sauka after he and his son, Mantum Sauka, were abducted in Mista Ali, Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State. The troops reportedly responded to a distress call shortly after the abduction, which occurred around midnight on August 9. They launched a search-and-rescue operation and found Boyi injured. He was taken to AG Hospital in Mista Ali for treatment. Security forces are continuing their search for Mantum and are working to identify and arrest those responsible.
