Ogbaru Widow Appeals for Swift Police Action Over Husband’s Murder

Mrs. Blessing Kingsley of Nkpikpa, Ogbaru, is urging the Nigeria Police Force to accelerate the investigation into her husband’s death. Kingsley Ogbonna was allegedly struck by co-tenant Friday Francis after a heated dispute during a tenants’ meeting at their building. He was first taken to Emmanuel Hospital in Nkpikpa but later pronounced dead at Bex Hospital on Owerri Road, Obosi. The case was reported at Okpoko Police Station and the suspect has been transferred to the CID in Awka for further investigation and possible arraignment. Now a widow with four young children, Mrs. Kingsley is disconsolate and appeals for a thorough inquiry to uncover the truth and ensure justice is served.
