Ogun Police Nab Security Guard, Two Accomplices with Stolen Lexus in Ibafo

Ogun Police Nab Security Guard, Two Accomplices with Stolen Lexus in Ibafo

Ogun State Police operatives have arrested a private security guard and two others for allegedly stealing an ash-coloured Lexus RX 300 in Ibafo. The three suspects—27-year-old Obada Ezekiel, 25-year-old Emmanuel Timothy and 27-year-old Yaya Yakubu—were tracked to a hideout after a distress call and credible intelligence. The stolen SUV was recovered at the scene. Investigators say Ezekiel used his position guarding the vehicle to conspire with Timothy and Yakubu. The suspects are now in custody and will be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department in Abeokuta for further questioning and prosecution. The State Commissioner of Police praised officers for their swift, intelligence-led operation. He also thanked the public for timely tips and urged residents to report suspicious activity through the command’s emergency lines.
