Man Charged After Threatening Ex-Royal Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor
A 39-year-old man has been charged following an alleged threat against former prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor near the Sandringham estate in Norfolk. Alex Jenkinson was arrested in Wolferton shortly after 7:30 pm on May 6, 2026. He faces two counts of harassment for using threatening or abusive behaviour and a separate charge for refusing to provide a blood sample in custody. Jenkinson has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Norwich Magistrates’ Court. Norfolk Constabulary reports there was no immediate comment from the royal household.
