Rosenior Sounds Alarm as Chelsea’s Champions League Hopes Fade

Rosenior Sounds Alarm as Chelsea’s Champions League Hopes Fade — 1 of 2
1 / 2

Chelsea head coach Liam Rosenior has warned his side that time is running out to salvage a top-four finish. The Blues sit sixth in the Premier League after a heavy defeat to Manchester City and trail fifth-placed Liverpool by four points. With just six games remaining, Chelsea’s form has been worrying. They have managed only one win in their last seven league outings and have gone over six weeks without scoring in the division. Rosenior blamed lapses in concentration for costly errors. “As the season goes on, the fewer games you have left, the more important each fixture becomes,” he said. He insists Chelsea must show more urgency and take the initiative when they host Manchester United this weekend.

With just six matches left, how realistic is Rosenior's warning about rescuing a top-four spot at Chelsea?

I'm not convinced their chances are that slim; they've recovered from worse positions before.

Focusing on incremental improvements like set-piece drills and tighter midfield structure might give Chelsea the marginal gains needed over the next six games.
