NAPTIP Rescues Woman from Domestic Violence in Asokoro Extension, Abuja
The NAPTIP Rapid Response Squad acted on credible reports and rescued a 36-year-old woman from a case of spousal battery in Asokoro Extension, Abuja. The victim, married for 22 years, was allegedly assaulted by her husband, 48-year-old Mr. Godwin from Benue State. After bringing her to safety, the agency initiated investigations and assured the public that all legal steps would follow in line with its mandate. NAPTIP reiterated its dedication to protecting women, children and other vulnerable groups, and urged everyone to report incidents of domestic violence for swift intervention.
